AI-Powered Tree Damage Detection and Path Mapping Using Image Segmentation
This project uses Artificial Intelligence and computer vision to automatically detect affected or damaged trees from aerial or satellite imagery. Advanced image segmentation techniques are applied to accurately identify trees and detect impacted areas, as well as related paths or routes.
After detection, the segmented results are converted into structured GeoJSON coordinate points, enabling seamless visualization on interactive maps. This allows users to clearly view affected tree locations and paths in real time, supporting environmental monitoring, forest management, and disaster assessment.
The system improves accuracy, reduces manual inspection efforts, and provides actionable geospatial insights through AI-driven analysis and map-based visualization.
