This project uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) and computer vision based pose detection techniques to identify football players in real-time match footage. The system analyzes the body movements and poses of each player to detect key actions such as running, kicking, passing, jumping, and changing direction.
By tracking pose landmarks over time, the model accurately determines the movement patterns and in-game moments of the player. Based on this data, the system generates a detailed performance analysis, including player activity level, movement efficiency, speed estimation, and action frequency.
The solution helps coaches, analysts, and sports teams gain data-driven insights to improve player performance, reduce injury risk, and enhance training strategies.
